Ethnic Craft With MENCAP

Get creative and explore a range of multi-cultural arts and crafts in these classes. Topics include Indian Head Massage, Rangoli pattern making, Bhangra music and dance and Chinese Ribbon Dancing.

Fashion and Textiles in Braintree

Due to popular demand, we are running classes on Wednesdays, 10:30am to 12:30pm at Braintree Town Hall, South Committee Room, Market Square, Braintree CM7 3RG.

Dates for 2014: 23rd April, 30th April, 7th May, 14th May and 21st May.

If you are into fashion, then these classes are for you! Come and be inspired to create your own designs every Tuesday from 12:30pm to 2:30pm at Moulsham High School Youth Club, Brian CLose, Chelmsford CM2 9ES

Ladies Only Exercise classes

Classes will be held every Thursday, 10:30am to 11:30am at St John's Church Hall, Vicarage Lane, Chelmsford CM2 9PH. Come and join us.

Fashion and Textile Classes for Chelmsford MENCAP

We are also running classes every Tuesday, 3.30pm to 4.30pm for people with learning difficulties.

English as a Second Language (ESOL) Classes

Gain confidence in speaking, reading and writing English in everyday situations at ladies-only classes on Thursday afternoons, 12.45pm to 2.45pm during term-time.

Venue: Parkside Community Hub, Melbourne Avenue, Chelmsford CM1 2DP. Costs only £1 per lesson - creche free, but must be booked in advance. A new course is starting on Thursday 6th June 2013.  Contact us to book a place.

Muslim Ladies Study Group

Every Tuesday at Moulsham High School Youth Club, Gloucester Avenue, 10.30am to 12.30pm.  Donations £1 welcome to help cover costs.  Join a friendly and welcoming group to discuss relevant issues in a religious context.

Ladies-Only Swimming Lessons

Learn to swim in a women-only environment, with a fully qualified female instructor and lifeguard.  Ladies and girls who have never swum before, or who are terrified of the water, gain confidence and healthful exercise in a safe and culturally appropriate setting.  We use the pool at Moulsham High School.  Contact us to book a place.
